Spree.com Signs Shopping Deal With Digital River

Thornton, PA-based reward shopping site Spree.com and Minneapolis-based
Digital River signed an agreement to
offer Digital River’s inventory of software and digital products through
Spree.com’s Internet marketplace.

As part of Spree.com’s rewards program, Spree members will earn cash back on
all of their purchases in The Software Store powered by Digital River located
on the Spree site.

The store will offer Digital River’s approximately 100,000 software
applications and digital products. Financial arrangements between the
companies were not disclosed.

“With Digital River we can now offer cash-back shopping on the hottest
computer games, office applications, educational software, and more,” said Michael Dell’Arciprete, Spree.com’s vice president of business
development.

Spree Independent Partners receive cash-back on their own purchases, cash
commissions on the purchases of referred customers, a free unlimited space
Web site, a free e-mail reminder service and special offers and promotions.

Digital River provides more than 5,000 software publishers and online
retailers with its proprietary technology for Internet delivery of more than
100,000 digital products, including 30,000 software products and applications.
