Online children’s product retailer Toysrus.com launched Babiesrus.com, an online version of its
Babies “R” Us baby specialty stores.
The new site features thousands of infant and baby products, an
online/off-line gift registry, a customer return program at the company’s
brick and mortar stores
nationally, and a variety of online resources for new and expectant families.
The site will also offer an online version of the company’s Babies “R” Us
handbook,
Getting Ready for Baby, a 70-page product selection guide that provides
tips on how to choose everything from strollers to car seats, furniture,
clothing, diapers and bottles.
Babies “R” Us- The Baby Superstore, an affiliate of Toys “R” Us Inc.,
currently operates 135 stores across the United States with over $1 billion
in annual sales revenue.
“Babiesrus.com will make it incredibly easy for parents, grandparents and
friends to get everything they need for babies right from their homes,”
said John Barbour, chief executive officer of Toysrus.com.
The new site features a “Resource Center” that offers a suite of easy-to-use
online tools for parents. Babiesrus.com also will have online content
partnerships with Web sites such as Family Education Network, Baby Zone,
CareGuide, Your Baby Today from Studio One Networks, Evite.com, iparty.com,
BabyPressConference.com, 1800Flowers.com and others.
