XOOM.com Selects Comercis’ Site Development Solution

Comercis, formerly BusinessWeb Inc., said
that XOOM.com has selected Comercis to empower
ComFind’s 600,000 business subscribers with business-to-business Web site
development services.

ComFind, a business directory offered by XOOM.com that attracts approximately
40,000 new business subscribers per month, will utilize Comercis’
capabilities to offer its members a professional, cost-effective solution to
create an online presence.

Comercis’ solution will provide ComFind business members with a free Web site
of up to five pages, free site hosting and a free 15-minute Web site tour by
a Comercis Internet professional. In exchange for providing free Web hosting,
Comercis will receive advertising space on ComFind’s business member Web
sites.

“With visibility to an audience as large and as focused as ComFind, this
partnership provides significant opportunities to our advertisers,” said
Chris Meaux, president and chief executive officer of Comercis. “Each member
Web site will become a gateway into a trade community, offering a prime
opportunity for our advertisers to get their message out to a targeted
audience of influential industry decision makers.”

For ComFind members who require a more robust Web solution, Comercis will
offer enhanced, fee-based Web site services.

San Francisco-based XOOM.com, a direct e-commerce company, offers consumers
free services over the Web, including homepage building, chat rooms, message
boards, HTML e-mail, online greeting cards, a Web page counter, clip art and
downloadable software. It targets its members with relevant product and
service offers and claims more than 8 million members.

Comercis, soon to be merged with NewGold Inc., is focused on providing
Internet services and products to unite communities in commerce. Communities
include the medical, dental, petrochemical, computer, consumer electronic and
automotive industries.
