The latest edition of Microsoft’s productivity suite comes with a litany of new features, and the software giant cautions that IT managers need to keep pace.
In that spirit, Microsoft is rolling out three new Office 2010 certifications, dubbed Microsoft Office Specialist. Within that category, Microsoft is offering three levels of certification: specialist, expert and master. Datamation has the details.
Microsoft shipped the enterprise release of Office 2010 in mid-May, followed by the consumer release of the business productivity applications suite in mid-June.
However, with so many new capabilities in the updated suite, it’s important that support staff clearly understand how Office 2010 has changed from Office 2007 or even earlier versions and be able to jump in when users need help.
