Yahoo’s got a sleek new version of its e-mail program for Apple’s iPhone, complete with HTML5 and Cascading Style Sheets to display content in a format optimized for the device.

Yahoo says the new e-mail application for the iPhone is coming soon, and will be available for download on Yahoo’s website. It could also be available through the iPhone’s App Store.

Lee Parry, senior product manager at Yahoo (NASDAQ: YHOO), showed in a demo how the new Mail makes it easier to see photos sent with e-mail messages.
