Social networking isn’t just for kids anymore.
Enterprise social networking vendor Yammer this week announced a new suite of tools that expands the social paradigm to enterprise applications.
The new suite of integration products enables enterprise networks to integrate social networking into their systems of record, such as document management systems and business applications such as CRM, HR, finance and supply chain management solutions.
“Enterprise social networking has moved beyond early adopters and is becoming part of the fabric of how we work,” said David Sacks, CEO of Yammer. “Yammer is adding a social layer to the applications that employees use every day in a way that breaks down silos, fostering productivity, collaboration and improved decision making.”
