BridgeSTOR Unveils Microsoft Storage Appliance

The latest storage appliance built to integrate with Microsoft System Center Data Protection Manager (DPM) promises an impressive rate of capacity usage.

The new Application Optimized Storage (AOS) appliance, unveiled by startup storage vendor BridgeSTOR on Monday, aims to help SMBs lower their capacity requirements by as much as 90 percent.

“The BridgeSTOR AOS DPM appliance is configured and tuned for Microsoft DPM environments, achieving levels of capacity optimization previously experienced only with high-end backup data deduplication appliances,” the company explained.
