Brocade Appoints VP of Engineering, CTO


Brocade Communications Systems, Inc., a Storage Area Networks (SANs)vendor, announced that Morris Taradalsky has joined Brocade as Vice President of Engineering and Chief Technical Officer (CTO).


Reporting to Greg Reyes, Brocade Chairman and CEO, Taradalsky is responsible for Brocade product development, including all technology, engineering, and research and development functions. With the addition of Taradalsky, Brocade co-founder and Vice President of Engineering Paul Bonderson assumes the newly created role of Vice President of Strategic Development, also reporting to Reyes. In this position, Bonderson will focus on long-term product strategy and market definition initiatives.

Before joining Brocade, Taradalsky was Executive Vice President of Engineering and Technology at Exodus Communications, where he was responsible for engineering worldwide, including network infrastructure; managed hosting platforms; data center architectures; managed services for security, storage, content distribution; networking and applications; product marketing; and IT.
