CNT Opens IBM TotalStorage Solution Center

CNT today announced that its new IBM TotalStorage Solution Center offers services that include storage testing, designing, education and training to customers. The center is part of an IBM network of over 110 solution centers worldwide.


“CNT has experience with IBM that dates back over 15 years and the combination of their skills and IBM SAN solutions represents a marvelous opportunity for local customers to experience, in person, the incredible value IBM SAN solutions can bring to most computing installations,” according to Kent Winton, worldwide director of channel development for IBM.


According to CNT, the Center features a range of storage solutions that can be tailored according to each customer’s needs. Equipment at the Center includes a Shark Enterprise Storage Server, Magstar and LTO libraries, SAN switches and gateways, a combination of IBM and non-IBM servers, and a suite of storage management software. Customers can test, model, demo, and benchmark a host of applications and architectures.
