Crimson Media Hires Storage Computer

Storage Computer Corporation , a provider of storage and media delivery systems, today announced it has been awarded a multi-phased project with Crimson Media, a networked based entertainment firm. Storage Computer is developing and deploying a national Content Delivery Network (CDN). Crimson Media is an online video acquisition portal, which includes self-managed CDN services.


Storage Computer is developing and installing a media asset management, delivery and digital rights system. The initial implementation of this multi-phased contract exceeds $1.35 million, with the total potential purchase valued over $2 million. This installation includes Storage Computers Cyber Media Server and CyberFibre products that will provide storage, storage hosting and high-speed delivery of media content into a storage-wide-area-network (SWAN) environment.

The Content Delivery Network is rolling out in Q3 this year and will initially entail presence in five cities across the United States, with plans to expand its presence both domestically and internationally.
