DataDirect Networks Forges Partnership With PART’COM


DataDirect Networks, aprovider of storage networking appliances, has announced a partnership agreement with PART’COM to make the company’s Silicon Storage Appliances more readily available to European partners and customers.

The company said PART’COM is one of the premier European investment firms specializing in the sectors of telecommunications, media and Internet with over EUR 520 million under management.

The combination of maximizing data and applications while simplifying administration can bring strong advantages for competitive companies,” said Henri de Lapparent, chairman of the board, PART’COM. “With this agreement PART’COM will facilitate contacts with its funded companies that can benefit from accelerated data and simplified management.”

DataDirect Networks said its technology allows business to accelerate their applications, providing data three times faster than existing Storage Area Networking (SAN) and ten times faster than Network Attached Storage (NAS) technology.
