Eurologic Spheras Storage Management Software Available

Nov 9, 2001

Eurologic(TM) Systems announced the availability of its Spheras(TM) family of storage management software, a suite of software tools, including Spheras Storage Manager and Spheras Multipath, that it said enables centralized, multi-platform configuration, monitoring and management and automatic path failover of their Eurologic-based distributed network storage assets.

Eurologic said the Spheras Storage Manager 1.0 software tool enables storage administrators to monitor, configure and manage their Eurologic network storage systems, including the Fibre Channel SANbloc(TM) 1Gb RAID and JBOD and 2Gb JBOD, from virtually anywhere in the world from a central console.

Eurologic’s Spheras Multipath is a high-availability software tool. When combined with cluster support, the company said it provides failover by keeping servers and applications running through fault detection, automatic path failover and I/O re-routing. Spheras Multipath also enhances system performance through automatic load balancing.

List pricing for Spheras Storage Manager 1.0 begins at $600 for a single license. List pricing for Spheras Multipath starts at $995 for a single license. Both products are available now.
