Fujitsu and DataCore Form Strategic Alliance

Fujitsu Ltd. and DataCore(TM) Software Corp. announced they have entered into a global strategic alliance in storage management.


Under the terms of this agreement, Fujitsu will sell DataCore’s SANsymphony(TM) product on an OEM basis as part of the Fujitsu SystemWalker(TM) integrated systems management solution beginning at the end of the year.


“Fujitsu is dedicated to supporting our clients’ businesses globally in the broadband Internet age. This agreement allows us to provide leading-edge storage management solutions worldwide in order to support huge increases in data flow via broadband Internet,” said Junji Maeyama, senior vice president of Fujitsu. “This alliance with DataCore, following on the establishment of Fujitsu Software Technology Corporation, clearly enhances Fujitsu’s storage management capabilities.”
