Fujitsu Softek to Offer 1TB SAN

Fujitsu Softek said it is offering a scalable one terabyte (TB) Storage Area Network (SAN) at about 15 cents per megabyte over a three-year period for less than $100,000.


The demonstrated 1TB SAN solution includes Softek Virtualization and Softek SANview(TM) software, a Brocade switch, Dell servers, QLogic Host Bus Adapters and mid-range storage arrays.


Fujitsu Softek plans to demonstrate the SAN solution featuring Fujitsu Softek software live during a series of customer seminars across North America and Europe entitled, “A Hands-on Look at Optimizing Storage Networks” in February: Toronto, Feb. 4; New York, Feb. 7; Chicago, Feb. 11; Paris, Feb. 12; Antwerp, Feb. 13, and London and Dallas, Feb. 14.
