Ingram Micro Introduces SAN Offering

Ingram Micro Inc., a global wholesale provider of technology products and services, today announced the availability of a complete storage area network (SAN) solution bundled with specialized services.

According to the company, its new bundled SAN solution is supported by leading global storage manufacturers, including VERITAS, Overland Data and QLogic. Ingram Micro says its SAN bundle provides a scalable solution, including components and accessories ranging from backup software and a fibre channel bridge to a switch and DLT tape library under one SKU. Customers who choose the SAN bundle receive support from a high-end storage (HES) trained sales and technical support team, HES Help Desk, customized marketing programs and promotions, and access to a dedicated Web site with valuable industry information and selling tools.

“Ingram Micro’s SAN bundle provides an easy point of entry for customers interested in expanding their businesses with high-end storage products,” said Lori Snow, vice president, product management and general manager, technical products division, Ingram Micro U.S. “Our VAR customers rely upon us to provide them with the right mix of products, solutions, training and support to be successful in this high-growth market.”
