KVS and QStar Technologies form Alliance

Information management company KVS Inc. and storage software provider QStar Technologies this week announced a reseller partnership.

As part of the alliance, KVS will add QStar Hierarchical Storage Manger (HSM) to its current list of storage options for use with the KVS Enterprise Vault email archiving, retention and retrieval product for Microsoft Exchange.

According to the companies, integration between Enterprise Vault and QStar HSM provides customers the control and protection of knowledge assets found in corporate email plus the enduring retention of secondary jukebox storage platforms, including tape, optical and magnetic media.
