Legato Works With IBM on DB2 Data Protection

Legato Systems, Inc., an enterprise storage management software vendor,today announced that it is working with IBM to provide information protection, management and application availability for IBM’s DB2 Universal Database running on Linux. The IBM Legato team will participate in the LinuxWorld 2001 event in San Francisco this week and will feature live demonstrations of its award-winning software with DB2.

In Booth no. 483 at LinuxWorld in San Francisco this week, Legato said it wil conduct an IBM DB2 Linux demonstration that will show the continual availability of a DB2 database in a Linux environment. The booth will also feature various product presentations throughout the duration of the event including the newly released Legato NetWorker(R) 6.1.
