Managed Storage International Announces New Storage Management Services

Jun 5, 2001

ManagedStorage International, Inc. today announced that it plans to design, implement, and operate all outsourced storage services offerings of TeleCity PLC , a European provider of data center services.

According to the company, this is the first comprehensive European-wide offering for businesses that want to outsource data storage management. ManagedStorage will design scalable, multi-vendor infrastructures, implement these new systems, and proactively operate these storage solutions through innovative management and monitoring technologies for TeleCity’s customers, enabling them to focus on their core businesses.

“Our customers want a complete outsourced storage management solution,” said Mike Kelly, co-founder of TeleCity, based in London, England. “Integrating ManagedStorage’s data storage management solution with our core set of fully managed Internet infrastructure services strengthens our position as the technology `backbone’ with our customers.”

TeleCity will roll out the first set of turnkey storage solutions in June in the United Kingdom. Deployment to other countries will continue through 2001.
