ManagedStorage International, Inc., a global storage solutions provider, this week announced the appointment of Tom Major as its vice president of marketing.
According to the company, Major helped define and market Hewlett-Packard’s storage offerings and its OpenView e-services and IT operations software offerings.During his 19-year career with Hewlett-Packard, Major was responsible for developing its global storage marketing, pricing, and channel strategy and managed the integration of multiple storage marketing groups into a single global organization.
“Tom’s success in creating demand for HP OpenView, combined with his immense knowledge of the storage market, gives him a unique understanding of the challenges customers face in strategically managing their storage infrastructures,” said Thomas P. Sweeney, III, president and CEO of ManagedStorage.
