Storage solutions vendor MTI Technology Corp. this week announced its participation in a nationwide series of Network Storage University seminars designed to educate IT professionals on proven techniques for building and managing storage area networks (SANs).

According to MTI, the complexity of managing the constant expansion of storage across a variety of servers running different operating systems in the enterprise is one of the biggest concerns of IT professionals. MTI plans on using a case study approach to show how large organizations are consolidating, protecting and managing their storage.

“With hundreds of enterprise-level storage area network implementations under our belt, MTI is in a unique position to share the best practices that organizations can use to store, protect and manage their most valuable information,” said Russ Ritchie, Director of Product Marketing. Ritchie added “storage networking technology can deliver tremendous efficiencies in storage utilization, reduced complexity and simplified management, all of which enable organizations to respond faster to changes in their businesses.”
