Network Appliance Passes Progress Software Test


Network Appliance, Inc. , provider of network-attached data access and content delivery solutions, and the Progress Company, an operating unit of Progress Software Corporation and a supplier of e-business technology and services,today announced that Network Appliance(TM) storage solutions have passed the reliability tests for use in Progress RDBMS Version 9.1C database environments.

The companies stated that Network Appliance storage appliances are currently the only network-attached storage (NAS) solutions to be officially tested by Progress Software for use with its RDBMS products, allowing Network Appliance to expand its presence into more database management solutions.
