Networked attached storage vendor Network Appliance, Inc. today announced that NASA’s Chandra X-ray Observatory is upgrading and expanding its network infrastructure with Network Appliance(TM) storage solutions.
According to Network Appliance, the solution enables on-demand public access to massive amounts of astrophysical research information and data from the observatory’s networked archive, enabling people around the globe to experiment and explore newly discovered corners of deep space.
