NSI Software(R), a developer of data replication technologies and services, today announced that its Double-Take(R) replication product now supports IBM’s TotalStorage Network Attached Storage (NAS) products.

“IBM is committed to providing open and interoperable storage solutions to our customers, especially in the area of data protection and business continuity,” said Roland Hagan, vice president of Storage Networking Marketing, IBM Storage Systems Group. “By combining NSI Software’s Double-Take with IBM’s NAS family of products, we enable our joint customers to have a high performance, open system that protects data and ensures data availability.”

“The reliance on electronic data and applications and the speed at which critical information changes is rapidly increasing. This trend has propelled the need for data protection and disaster recovery plans to incorporate replication technologies,” said Bob Guilbert, vice president of marketing, NSI Software. “With IBM TotalStorage NAS products and our software, we are able to broaden our product portfolio, enter new markets and serve as a proven source for data replication products.”
