Ontrack Updates Data Advisor Diagnostic Software

ONTRACK Data International Inc. announced the release of Ontrack Data Advisor(TM) 5.0, the latest version of its diagnostic software tool for assessing computer system problems that may cause data loss.


Data Advisor 5.0 features a new graphical user interface that clearly guides users though the full range of diagnostic steps and customizable diagnostic options that Ontrack says are designed to simplify and accelerate the diagnostic process.


According to Ontrack, Data Advisor 5.0 assesses the health of a computer system’s hard drive, file structures and computer memory by identifying the problems that prevent users from accessing their computer data and provides recommendations on how to recover from those problems.


Ontrack Data Advisor 5.0 features a variety of diagnostic tests include a Quick Functional Test, SMART Status Check, Complete Surface Scan, File Structure Test and a System Memory Test.


Ontrack Data Advisor is available at for $19.95 and contains support for English, French, German, Italian and Spanish languages.
