SAN 2001 to Highlight Industry Growth

Storage companies and industry experts plan to gather to discuss the phenomenal growth and state of the storage industry at the Storage Area Networks conference and exhibition, SAN 2001, which will take place June 5-7 in San Jose, California.

Sessions will highlight global SANs, SAN management, storage over Ethernet and IP and managed storage services, and Greg Reyes of Brocade Communications will present the keynote address.
“Interest in SAN technology is turning to the analysis, testing and tuning of implementation,” says Lance Leventhal, program chair for the Storage Area Network conference. “In spite of the recent economic slowdown, this is one technology sector that will see a surge in demand.”

The event is slated to cover the full spectrum of storage area networks technology during the three-day conference. Committed to in-depth tutorials and sessions, SAN 2001 offers extensive technical programs from over one hundred presenters and exhibitors. Participating companies include TrueSAN Networks, Cisco Systems, XIOtech, McDATA, Vitesse Semiconductor, StorageTek and Agilient Technologies.
