SANcastle Technologies, creater of the multi-protocol switch, GFS-8(TM), that it said translates IP protocols for both Gigabit Ethernet (GbE) and Fibre Channel (FC), today announced formation of their Business Development Advisory Board. T

According to the company, advisory board’s main functions are to guide the Company’s product and strategic technology positioning and to advise the company in their Business Development and market positioning activities.

Newly-appointed members are: Mike Gluck, co-founder and former COO of Chaparral Network Storage; Richard Lary, who is a Lifetime Achievement Award recipient for his work in processor and storage system architecture and design; Tom Burniece, chairman of the board of Ciprico, a publicly traded company that manufactures storage solutions for visual computing applications; and Bob Geist, vice president of marketing, Wide Area Networking, at INRANGE Technologies.
