Solid Systems Expands Baton Rouge Data Center Customer Base

Solid Systems Inc. today announced it has signed three new customers a one month after opening its data center in the Louisiana Technology Park Three Louisiana-based companies, Diamond Data Systems Inc., Syndistar Inc. and IT Group Inc., selected Solid Systems to provide managed hosting services for mission-critical IT systems.


“Solid Systems’ success in Louisiana is due in part to the increased awareness among businesses of the overall value in utilizing a world-class hosting facility for their sophisticated IT systems,” said Tim Tindle, vice president of strategic planning and marketing for Solid Systems. “We’re pleased to be affiliated with the Louisiana Technology Park, a pioneer in cutting-edge technology for Louisiana. Together with the technology park, Solid Systems will be a valuable IT resource for local enterprise companies and technology start-ups.”


The newest customers in Solid’s Baton Rouge data center include subsidiaries of Diamond Data Systems and Syndistar as well as a local IT consulting firm, called the IT Group. The companies have cited increased operational efficiencies, significant price savings and proximity as primary reasons for choosing Solid’s Baton Rouge data center.
