Storage Engine’s Synchronix 3000 Earns SANmark Qualification

Storage Engine, Inc. this week announced that its Synchronix 3000 fault tolerant RAID subsystem has successfully completed the Fibre Channel Industry Association’s (FCIA) SANmark(TM) Qualification Program.

This program, developed by the FCIA, requires a product to pass a series of tests designed to ensure multi-vendor compatibility in common network operations. Products that achieve the SANmark Qualification promote heterogeneous Fibre Channel networks and SANs. The Storage Engine (SEI) Synchronix 3000 Storage Array has achieved this qualification, successfully passing the compatibility testing with other SANmark products active within storage area networks (SANs).

“SANmark certification is benchmark tool that validates the compatibility of our products and provides customers with industry validation when they are considering storage for implementing a SAN environment. The SANmark qualification takes the trial-and-error burden of testing, and the problems that can occur, away from our customers and gives them confidence that the Synchronix 3000 is truly compatible in their SAN,” said Gregg Azcuy, President and CEO of Storage Engine, Inc.

Azcuy continued, “Our goal is to deliver fault tolerant storage at an exceptional value, backed with our exceptional services. If you are tired of paying high prices to your current vendor, or need to implement a better data storage architecture, SEI is the company you are seeking. The full featured SX 3000 is priced at less than 5 cents per megabyte(a) and with the SANmark qualification, you have the assurance that it will play in your SAN.”
