StorageNetworks Expands Technology Support

StorageNetworks, Inc. , a provider of data storage management software and services has tested and certified Fujitsu GR720 and EMC Clariion IP4700 storage arrays through STORlabs, the company’s interoperability lab. StorageNetworks said the certifications enhance its multi-vendor technology support in its STORos software.

According to the company, in addition to the Fujitsu and EMC storage arrays, STORlabs has certified many storage technologies, including products from ADIC, Brocade, Cisco, Compaq, Hewlett Packard, Hitachi Data Systems, IBM, Legato, McData, Network Appliance, StorageTek, Sun Microsystems and Veritas.


As part of the testing and certification of multi-vendor data storage technology, StorageNetworks said it also provides comprehensive documentation, including detailed Field Inplementation Guides (FIGs), and ongoing support.
