Tricord Systems Announces Hiring of Chief Operating Officer

Tricord Systems, Inc. , developer of the Illumina(TM) clustering software and Lunar Flare(TM) NAS clustered server appliance, today announced the hiring of Keith Thorndyke to fill the role of chief operating officer. As COO, Thorndyke will be responsible for all operating groups within the company and will drive the implementation of corporate strategy.

“Keith has a proven track record of helping companies grow revenues and develop products profitably,” said Joan Wrabetz, Tricord’s president and CEO. “He has both software and storage experience and has successfully grown several businesses. Keith will play a key role in helping our organization focus on expanding sales and acquiring customers. We’re pleased he’s joined Tricord’s management team.”

Most recently, Thorndyke was executive vice president and COO of LearningByte International.
