TRICORD SYSTEMS INC. announced plans to demonstrate its new Lunar Flare(TM) NAS clustered server appliance at NetWorld+Interop next week in Las Vegas. The product is designed for growing e-businesses, midsize companies and workgroups and is currently shipping in limited availability.

Lunar Flare NAS, Tricord claims, is a scalable, high availability clustered appliance that is easy to grow, manage and use. Enabled by Tricord’s patented Illumina(TM) aggregation software, multiple Lunar Flare NAS appliances aggregate to create a cluster, managed as a single resource. Clusters of up to 16 units provide seamless scalability up to two terabytes.
