VERITAS Qualifies Crossroads’ Routers

Crossroads Systems Inc. today announced that VERITAS Software Corporation has qualified its new line of multi-protocol routers, the Crossroads 8000, as interoperable with VERITAS NetBackup(tm).

“Testing and compatibility between Crossroads and VERITAS Software ensures full interoperability in a heterogeneous environment,” said Neal Ater, senior vice president of data protection products, VERITAS Software. “The Crossroads 8000 and VERITAS NetBackup further enable our customer to take advantage of leading storage products that are easy to use and manage together.

“Working in collaboration with the leading software vendor like VERITAS, Crossroads offers services to support the emerging SAN market,” said Rich Lautzenheiser, vice president of marketing at Crossroads Systems. “Our 8000 works effortlessly to help maximize customers’ investment and ensure successful business operations.”
