Sprintannounced today that Appshop, a Fremont, Calif.-based ASP that specializes in Oracle applications, has joined the Sprint Navigator Program.

The Navigator Program is designed to allow ASPs, independent software vendors (ISVs) and other service providers to host and deliver software solutions to their customers.
Under terms of the agreement, Sprint E|Solutions will supply Appshop with hosting services backed by service level guarantees for network availability and performance.

In addition to using Sprint’s network, hosting capabilities and Internet Centers to provide Oracle E-Business Suite and complementary applications, Appshop is eligible to receive Sprint’s marketing consultation.

“For Appshop’s customers, it’s a business mandate that their database and e-business applications remain available and processing 24×365,” said Keith Paglusch, president, Sprint E|Solutions. “Sprint’s advanced hosting infrastructure and global network, backed by the industry’s leading service level agreements (SLAs), enable Appshop to build trust with its customers through the non-stop delivery of high-quality service.”

“By leveraging Sprint’s flexible solutions, we are able to provide customers with services that go above and beyond traditional ASP service levels,” said Steve Lee, vice president of business development, Appshop.

Appshop is listed as a Top 20 ASP by ASPnews.
