Xevo Corp., a service management software provider, today announced it has signed a reseller agreement with Compaq Global Services.

Under the terms of the agreement, Compaq will resell XevoWorks, an XML-based service management solution that provides application provisioning, metering and packaging. Combined with Compaq’s integrated computing infrastructure and services, the offering is designed to allow service providers to quickly and efficiently offer hosted application services.

Compaq’s sales and technical forces will receive training and support from Xevo. The two companies will also be developing joint sales opportunities.

“Our relationship with Compaq has already resulted in several major account wins that we plan to announce in detail in the near future,” said Hal Chapel.

Both Compaq and Xevo are included on ASPnews list of the Top 20 Infrastructure Providers.
