EarthLink Network Inc.
announced today it signed marketing agreements with six companies for its Premiere Partnership advertising and merchandising program.
Financial terms were not disclosed.
The Pasadena, CA-based Internet service provider said American Greetings, CoolSavings, Netopia, Sprint, SurfWatch, and Wired Digital have joined the Premiere Partnership ranks.
The program features marketing initiatives that include company displays on Earthlink’s Personal Start Page, EarthLink TotalAccess software CD-ROMs, Earthlink’s “bLink” newsletter, and the EarthLink Mall commerce site, as well as online banner ads.
EarthLink said its Premiere Partnership Program is designed to build a partner’s brand identity with “reach, frequency and accountability.” The ISP said it strategically positions a company’s message and branding throughout different EarthLink venues over an extended period of time.
“This isn’t about slapping a few banner ads up on our site,” said Howard Lefkowitz, vice president of business development at EarthLink. “It’s a soup-to-nuts Internet solution for our partners to enhance their brand, and sell products through a variety of different media.”
