E-business software and consulting firm Evolve Wednesday says it has found a permanent replacement for its now departed president, CEO and board member John Bantleman.

The Emeryville, Calif.-based company says former Oracle Sr. Vice President Linda Zecher has accepted the position. At Oracle, Zecher led the $1.3 billion division E-Business Applications for Oracle Services Industries. She replaces interim CEO Lin Johnstone, who covered for Bantleman.

“Linda’s deep expertise building successful enterprise organizations will help Evolve leverage the momentum we’ve seen with new customer wins and deployments; and lead the company through its next phase of growth,” says Evolve chairman Gayle Crowell. “Linda’s executive experience running large sales and marketing organizations as well as developing new products and market opportunities for corporations such as Oracle, PeopleSoft and Bank of America make her an ideal selection.”

Evolve says its Strategic Workforce Optimization (SWO) solutions help companies like Autodesk, EDS, Ericsson, Fleet Capital Leasing, Novell, Pershing, Ryder and Siemens automate key business processes that deliver strategic initiatives to internal and external customers.
