AT&T WorldNet Friday
launched GameHub, an online community featuring some of the most popular
games.

GameHub is run by gaming network MPG-Net Inc. It includes popular titles
such as Drakkar, Empire Builder, Operation Market Garden and Bingo.
Available features include player matching capability, character-creation
tools, support for DirectPlay gaming, chat rooms, forums and shopping areas.

Under terms of Friday’s agreement, subscribers to AT&T WorldNet Service can
access GameHub’s content for $4.95 per month– a 50 percent savings off
GameHub’s standard price. They also will have a high-speed, dedicated
connection from the AT&T WorldNet Service backbone directly to the GameHub
community.

“With GameHub, AT&T and MPG-Net are offering a full spectrum of games and
services, ranging from exciting action adventures to persistent games that
let people play in an ongoing, multi-player environment,” said Michael
Chaplo, vice president of marketing for AT&T WorldNet Service.

“Now, AT&T WorldNet Service customers can experience a reliable high-speed
backbone that meets the needs of today’s most demanding online gamers.”
