IBS Interactive Offers DSL in Philadelphia

IBS Interactive, Inc. announced
Friday the extension of its alliance with
Covad Communications Group, Inc. to
expand IBS’ offering of Digital Subscriber
Line (DSL) service into the Philadelphia metro area.


“Our alliance with Covad will enable us to deliver fast, affordable DSL
service to small- and medium-sized businesses,
telecommuters and individuals in the rapidly growing Delaware Valley,” said
Frank Altieri, chief information officer of IBS Interactive.

IBS Interactive announced their alliance with Covad for the initial DSL
sales program launch for the New York City area on January 27. IBS provides
DSL service in New York, Long Island and northern New Jersey.
DSL service offers speeds up to 50 times faster than 28.8 kbps modem
connections and up to 12 times faster than ISDN.

IBS Interactive also provides Web site hosting, leased line services and dial-up and e-mail
access.

Covad Communications is a provider of high-speed digital communications
services using DSL technology to ISP customers.
