ISS Makes VP Appointment to Latin American Operations

Internet Security Systems (Nasdaq: ISSX) named Edgar Zorrilla as vice president of its Latin American operations.

Zorrilla will oversee ISS’ business expansion in Latin American markets. He will be based in Boca Raton, Fla.

The former director of global network services in Unisys Corp., has also worked at NetGen Internet (formerly GES) and Teleinformatica TTI based in Caracas, Venezuela.

“Internet Security Systems’ global outlook and presence as a trusted security advisor in the industry has already created a solid presence in Latin America,” Zorrilla said in a statement. “I am looking forward to building on this foundation as we focus on providing the information protection solutions critical to the availability, integrity and privacy of organizations digital assets. With its market-leading information protection solutions and world- class consulting and managed security services, ISS can continue to define the future of information protection solutions for customers worldwide.”
