“Marty is an exceptional choice for the job, joining us at an exciting time in the company’s development,” said Rick McConnell, president and COO of Latitude. “Marty will enable us to strengthen our brand identity, and develop greater awareness in a highly competitive market. We look forward to his contributions toward this effort.”

Latitude’s main product, MeetingPlace, incorporates standard communications infrastructures and popular groupware applications such as Microsoft Outlook and Lotus Notes. The technology is now being used with companies such as Aetna, AOL, Charles Schwab, Cisco, Deloitte & Touche, Federal Express, Hewlett-Packard, and Merrill Lynch.
