Microsoft Awards ManagedOps Again

Oct 5, 2001

ManagedOps Inc., provider of Managed Operations services was awarded on Wednesday for the second consecutive year, the Microsoft Great Plains Business Solutions ASP Excellence Award at the Microsoft Great Plains’ four-day international business conference in Fargo, N.D.

Says Jim Traynor, director of ASP Business Development at Microsoft Great Plains: “ManagedOps was among the first service providers to receive Microsoft Gold Certification earlier this year, and their efforts contributed to what have become the standards by which Microsoft measures others.”

He also cites ManagedOps for “investing significantly to drive the industry forward” by providing a cost-analysis tool for customers, as well as educational seminars and marketing communications support.

“This award reflects our commitment to help our partners take full advantage of the growing market demand for IT outsourcing and interconnected business applications delivered as a service,” says Dan Taylor, ManagedOps CEO, adding that the firm is proud to have earned the distinction of ASP Excellence for the second year running.

Founded in 1987 and headquartered in Bedford, N.H., ManagedOps.com Inc. has strategic partnerships with Microsoft Great Plains, Siebel Systems and other technology leaders. It is one of the first three U.S.-based companies to be named a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner for Hosting and Application Services.
