Internet service provider MindSpring Enterprises Inc.
continued its buying spree with the purchase of Atlanta ISP Cyber
Connections Inc.
The acquisition marks MindSpring’s 16th in its attempt to build a national
network. Based in Atlanta, Mindspring offers service in 46 states.
Financial details of the deal were not disclosed.
“MindSpring is proud that Cyber Connections decided to move its subscribers
to our service,” said Cliff Bryant, MindSpring’s director of acquisitions.
“We will do everything within our power to meet
or exceed the service they have received from Cyber Connections.”
Transition of the Cyber Connections subscribers is expected to be complete
within 60 days.
