Ramping up for its expansion into the U.S., JAWZ Inc. has widened its pool of professionals by adding three new senior-level executives.

It’s a move that JAWZ hopes will facilitate a major restructuring of its Canadian and U.S. operations. With international headquarters in Toronto, JAWZ is a secure information management solution provider, specializing in the field of end-to-end information security services. These products and services include security software products, consulting services and secure Internet and remote data storage services. Clients range from law enforcement agencies and healthcare providers to financial services firms and telecom suppliers specializing as Application Service Providers and Internet Service Providers.

Leading the company’s string of new appointments is Robert Mahood, now president of U.S. operations. Formerly, Mahood was executive vice-president of JAWZ corporate development where he participated in securing U.S. contracts with telecommunications giant Verizon and the State of Florida Department of Community Affairs.

Peter Labrinos has been appointed president of JAWZ Canadian operations. Formerly, he was chief operating officer for the company. Labrinos came to JAWZ in November of 1999 when JAWZ acquired his company, Pace Systems Group, a provider of strategic business and IT solutions, which he founded in 1986.

And finally, Raghu Kilambi joins JAWZ’ board of directors as strategic advisor. A chartered accountant, Kilambi is the former chief financial officer of FutureLink and will assume a new consulting role as strategic advisor to the chairman.
