Passkey, a Quincy, Mass., group reservation software application service provider, recently signed five Convention and
Visitors Bureaus (CVBs) in the Mid-West and West.
The new clients are Greater Columbus, Dallas, Muncie, Reno-Sparks and Sacramento. Financial terms were not disclosed.
“These cities’ choice of Passkey further validates that a cross-platform protocol to effectively manage meetings and conventions is critical to a CVB and hotel’s client
base,” said Tim Durant, a Passkey executive vice president.
The software delivered by Passkey provides all parties involved in city-wide meeting and convention planning with real-time reports and updates at any time.
“Passkey’s Internet-based technology helps make our city a more attractive convention destination because it offers real-time reservation information to our
customers (the meeting planners), our hotel partners and ultimately the end-user,” said Joseph Marinelli, senior vice president, Greater Columbus CVB.
Privately held Passkey was founded in 1996.
