Agilera, an Englewood, Colo.-based enterprise ASP, yesterday announced it has attained Premier status in IBM’s xSP Prime program.

As a member of both the xSP Prime for Service Providers and the xSP Prime for Developers, Agilera said he has worked closely with IBM to complete testing of IBM WebSphere 4.0 Advanced Server Edition with J.D. Edwards OneWorld Xe.

“We are pleased to welcome Agilera into the xSP Prime program and announce Agilera’s IBM WebSphere infrastructure support for hosted J.D. Edwards OneWorld,” said Scott Hebner, director, IBM WebSphere Software. “Agilera is one of the first companies to host and provide its customers the benefits of IBM’s WebSphere Application Server infrastructure running J.D. Edwards OneWorld to deliver dramatically lower costs of ownership.”

“Agilera’s core competency is to provide architected and hosted solutions that deliver proven return-on-investment results for our customers,” said Todd Sterrenberg, vice president of product development at Agilera.

“By joining IBM’s xSP program,” said Sterrenberg, “we can expand our delivery of solid solutions using IBM’s infrastructure to dramatically reduce our customers’ costs and remove technology boundaries.”

In addition to providing J.D. Edwards application, Agilera also offers software from Lawson and Oracle.
