StorageProvider Selects Hostcentric

Hostcentric Inc., one of the largest privately held managed service providers offering a full range of web hosting services, e-commerce solutions and technology infrastructure, announced Wednesday (Jan 10) that it has been selected by StorageProvider, a Storage Service Provider (SSP) that delivers real-time data storage and recovery management solutions, to host and manage The Oracle E-Business Suite, including CRM and ERP modules.

“Hostcentric offers StorageProvider hosting services that will result in a quicker time to market,” said Fred Pounds, CEO of Hostcentric. “Through Hostcentric, StorageProvider can access applications that offer smoother, more efficient systems for managing customer relationships, financials and other front and back office processes.”

As an Oracle Authorized Application Provider (OAAP) and member of the Oracle Partner Program (OPP), Hostcentric offers hosting solutions for Oracle applications, including the recently released Oracle E-Business Suite, the industry’s first fully web-enabled application suite. By having Hostcentric host the Oracle E-Business Suite, StorageProvider can focus on its core business. The result for StorageProvider is faster implementation time.

“Hostcentric has implemented Oracle’s E-Business Suite internally,” said Doug Allen, CIO and president of the ASP Hosting Group for Hostcentric. “We have first-hand experience in managing these applications and are well ahead of the learning curve.”

Hostcentric offers businesses a variety of advanced e-solutions, including infrastructure support, managed services, dedicated Web hosting and co- location streaming media and leading software applications services, as well as global domain registrar services.

“As a leading application service provider, Hostcentric has a comprehensive bundle of services that were key to our decision,” said Reagan Dixon, co-founder and CEO of StorageProvider. “Hostcentric provides best of breed applications management with its unparalleled expertise in implementing and managing Oracle E-Business Suite.”

Houston-based Hostcentric’s comprehensive suite of enhanced, integrated services includes applications infrastructure management, complex, geographically load-balanced e-commerce systems and support, streaming media, web hosting and global domain name registration and management.
