David Nolan has been named chief operating officer of Telenisus Corp., a new position at the Rolling Meadows, Ill.,-based managed Internet infrastructure service provider.
Nolan has a 20-year background in sales, marketing and executive management with technology and service companies. At Telenisus, he is responsible for the ongoing business operations of the company, including the sales, marketing, product management and operations organizations. He reports to President and CEO Gordon Reichard Jr.
“Dave’s addition to my management team is another milestone in Telenisus’ maturation and growth as a successful service provider,” Reichard said. “We are privileged to add a chief operating officer with Dave’s talents and leadership skills. He is perfectly suited to help Telenisus move to a higher level of performance and stature in a rapidly evolving market.”
Nolan joins Telenisus from Alternative Resources Corporation in Barrington, Ill., where he was president of field operations responsible for all staffing and technology management sales and operations. Prior to that, he was chief executive officer of 24seven.com, a Lucent Technologies Ventures company.
He also had an 11-year career in various senior sales, marketing and corporate positions at Comdisco Inc., including president of Comdisco Continuity Services and executive vice president of marketing and business development of Comdisco Inc. He also spent four years as a national account representative at IBM Corporation and three years in sales at Jackson-Bowden Automation Inc.
Nolan earned his bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering from Villanova University. He and his family reside in northwest suburban Chicago.
Telenisus is a managed Internet infrastructure service provider that hosts and secures customers’ complex high volume applications from its fully managed infrastructure. The privately held company was founded in June 1999.
