In a move that will add security to its technology solutions Forsythe Solutions Group Inc., the Skokie,
Ill.-based provider of infrastructure services, today announced it has acquired the security integration and consulting services assets and contracts of Telenisus Corp., a
Chicago-based firm offering business security on the Web.

Financial terms were not disclosed, but in additon to Forsythe’s lifecycle of
technology assessment, design, integration and management solutions, the acquistion will
provide the firm’s 2,500 nationwide customers with:

  • A premier network-security offering
  • Access to security consultants
  • An expanded range of hardware and software offerings
  • Training and technical certification services

“Companies should feel confident turning to Forsythe for security solutions as many
of the Fortune 1000, including McDonald’s and R.R. Donnelley, have already embraced
Telenisus’ proven offerings,”

“We’ve been listening hard to our customers, and this expansion of our capabilities is
a response to their needs,” says Eva Losacco, president and chief executive officer of
Forsythe Solutions Group.

“At the same time, we can offer Forsythe’s full complement of IT infrastructure
solutions to Telenisus’ customers,” she adds.

According to IT research firm, Gartner Dataquest, sales of security programs are
expected to rise about 18 percent in 2002, to $4.34 billion.

Forsythe says the acquistion will help meet this demand through offering security
policy design, security architecture, penetration and vulnerability testing services.

As part of the acquistion, David Nolan, Telenisus’ chief operating officer, will join
Forsythe as general manager of Forsythe security solutions and vice president of
consulting services.

Additionally, Gordon Reichard Jr., Telenisus’ former president, chief executive
officer and director ot Telenisus, who spearheaded the partnership, will consult Forsythe
on an ongoing basis.

“Forsythe manages to grow its business through tough economic times, and I’m
excited to be working with them. I know our customers will continue to be well served,”
Reichard say.

Forsythe says it will hire about 25 former Telenisus employees in the areas of sales,
pre-sales support, security architecture, consultants and trainers.
