In an alliance to integrate its product lifecycle management (PLM) solutions, EDS , the Plano, Texas-based ASP, today announced it has selected New York-based SeeBeyond
to provide the strategic software integration technology.
The agreement will mean that e*Gate Integrator, SeeBeyond’s integration platform, will be embedded into EDS PLM software, to make its connectivity to third-party enterprise applications seamless.
EDS says the joint solution will allow it to offer integration solutions based on an open, distributed architecture, including support for web services, which will enable customers to leverage information in all phases of the product lifecycle.
