Xevo Corporation, a Marlborough, Mass.-based developer of service management software solutions to automate and streamline an ASP’s operations, Monday (Feb 26) announced the appointment of ASP Industry Consortium president Paula Hunter as its chief market strategist.
With more than 15 years experience in the technology industry, Hunter is recognized as an industry expert, contributing to the ASP strategies of Compaq, cMeRun Corporation and Eggrock Partners. In her new role as Xevo’s chief market strategist, Hunter will drive Xevo’s strategy regarding market selection, segmentation and targeting, as well as offer a deep understanding of the evolving ASP/AIP market. Additionally, Hunter will continue to serve as the ASP Industry Consortium (ASPIC) president.

Hunter has been involved in the ASP market for several years. She is a founding member of ASPIC, which was developed in 1999, and currently serves as a member of its Board of Directors. Additionally, Hunter is on the ASP Summit Advisory Board and the Mass High Tech Advisory Board. She has spoken at a variety of leading industry conferences around the world including: ISPCon, ASPCon, ASP Summit and Networld+Interop.

Prior to joining Xevo Corporation, Hunter held several positions in leading technology companies where she directly contributed to the development of their ASP market strategies. Most recently, Hunter served as vice president of sales and marketing and COO of cMeRun, the world’s first Internet computing company devoted to the personal ASP market.
Hunter also served as general manager of Eggrock Partners’ ASP Division, where she was responsible for the sales and marketing, delivery, engineering and operations within the ASP division. Hunter also worked at Compaq, where she helped develop strategy and programs in the ASP market, and with Digital Equipment Corporation, where she held a variety of product marketing, channel development and solutions marketing positions.
